Understencil Wiping Rolls are a critical part of the SMT PCB assembly process. Using high quality rolls can reduce or prevent defect-causing smearing, bridging, and solder balls produced by normal printing of solder paste onto PC Boards. This is why we utilize only the best materials to manufacture our understencil wiping rolls. Our two most popular options are Green Monster® and SmartRolls®. Both lines exceed the demanding requirements of the equipment manufacturer and combine to offer the widest range of OEM compatible rolls on the market.

We manufacture stencil rolls in a wide range of sizes to fit popular SMT screen printer models including DEK, EKRA, Speedline/MPM, JUKI, Panasonic machines, Samsung, SJ Innotech, SpeedPrint, and Yamaha, as well as legacy brands such as SMTech. Custom options are also available.

Green Monster® Understencil Wiping Rolls offer unmatched performance. Whether they are being used wet, with a solvent bar system, or dry with a vacuum assisted wiper system, it is completely ESD safe. This unique material is constructed from a blend of coarse Rayon and ESD polyester that is bonded together by proprietary formula of copolymers. This construction method prevents lint fibers coming off the surface of the roll and getting into solder joints, while allowing solder paste and flux residue to be absorbed and trapped within the fabric.

Our SmartRolls® Understencil Wiping Rolls are made from a blend of Wood Pulp and Polyester with no chemical binders. The hydro-entanglement process yields exceptional strength, absorbency and a virtually lint-free finished product – resulting in increased stencil cleaning efficiency. SmartRolls effectively remove residual adhesives, solder pastes and fluxes, with or without solvents, and have excellent airflow characteristics that are perfect for vacuum assisted wiper systems. The specific grade of Cleanmaster material we use is different from other manufacturers in the industry, resulting in better all-around performance.  Using our high-quality wiping rolls will help prevent many common production defects like bridging, smearing, solder balls, and other problems associated with circuit board printing/assembly.
