What Makes a Glove Suitable for Cleanroom Applications?
There are common features that make a disposable glove suitable for clean room use. They should be engineered to yield minimal out-gassing and particle generation. Powdered gloves are not acceptable in a cleanroom. Powder can break away from the surface and contaminate the environment. Additionally, a sterile cleanroom glove should be durable and resistant to minor punctures.
Packaging is also important when selecting cleanroom gloves. They should be double bagged. Cardboard dispensing boxes are not recommended for use in a critically controlled environment.
